Nanjing Wu Hai Smart Home Appliance Store Recalls Alanca 6-Drawer Dressers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards; Violate Mandatory Standard for Clothing Storage Units

CPSC Product recall issued Sep 3, 2026.

This recall involves Alanca-branded 6-Drawer Wood Dressers. The wooden dressers were sold in brown and white and have six drawers. The dressers measure about 15.75 inches wide, 57 inches long and 31.5 inches tall and weigh about 55 pounds. “WH-DS02-6W” or “WH-DS02-6GE” is printed on the product packaging.

Stop using the product immediately, even if yours seems fine. CPSC recalls are issued after a hazard is confirmed, often from a small number of incidents.

Read the remedy line on the notice — it will say refund, replacement, or free repair kit. Companies must honor it whether or not you have a receipt.

Do not resell or donate a recalled item. Reselling recalled products is illegal, and thrift shops are a common way they keep circulating.

For nursery and toy recalls, check secondhand and hand-me-down gear too. That is where recalled cribs, sleepers, and bassinets usually turn up.

Report a product that hurt someone at SaferProducts.gov. Those reports are the main trigger for new investigations.
