Gazelle USA Recalls Urban Arrow Cargo Electric Bikes Due to Fall Hazard

CPSC Product recall issued Oct 1, 2026.

This recall involves Urban Arrow cargo electric bikes with model descriptions Urban Arrow Family (in Black and White), Urban Arrow Shorty (in Black and White), Urban Arrow Cargo L/XL (in Black and White) and Urban Arrow Tender 1000/1500 (in White). The frame of the bicycle is made of aluminum with a reinforced foam (EPP) cargo box. “Urban Arrow” is printed on the bottom of the cargo box. The seat posts on the recalled bicycles have two silver bolts.

Stop using the product immediately, even if yours seems fine. CPSC recalls are issued after a hazard is confirmed, often from a small number of incidents.

Read the remedy line on the notice — it will say refund, replacement, or free repair kit. Companies must honor it whether or not you have a receipt.

Do not resell or donate a recalled item. Reselling recalled products is illegal, and thrift shops are a common way they keep circulating.

For nursery and toy recalls, check secondhand and hand-me-down gear too. That is where recalled cribs, sleepers, and bassinets usually turn up.

Report a product that hurt someone at SaferProducts.gov. Those reports are the main trigger for new investigations.

Sourced from the CPSC public recall API. Notices are federal government works; we summarize and link to the official announcement.
