Golden Resale Recalls Portable Camping Showers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Fire Hazard
CPSC Product recall issued Oct 1, 2026.
This recall involves Portable Camping Showers with a bucket and immersion heater. The shower system consists of a black rechargeable electric shower pump, a black shower head with gold trim, a black hose, a black 5-gallon collapsible bucket, a 1500-watt metal immersion water heater, and mounting and storage accessories. The ZAREI logo appears on the side of the 5-gallon collapsible bucket. “ZAREI” is printed in white under the display of the shower pump. The immersion heater has distinctive heart-shaped openings in its metal housing and a black plastic endcap.
Stop using the product immediately, even if yours seems fine. CPSC recalls are issued after a hazard is confirmed, often from a small number of incidents.
Read the remedy line on the notice — it will say refund, replacement, or free repair kit. Companies must honor it whether or not you have a receipt.
Do not resell or donate a recalled item. Reselling recalled products is illegal, and thrift shops are a common way they keep circulating.
For nursery and toy recalls, check secondhand and hand-me-down gear too. That is where recalled cribs, sleepers, and bassinets usually turn up.
Report a product that hurt someone at SaferProducts.gov. Those reports are the main trigger for new investigations.
