ROCHESTER, MI– September 18, 2026 –Par Health is voluntarily recalling two lots of Dexmedetomidine HCl in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection 400 mcg/100 mL (4 mcg/mL) to the hospital level. The product is being recalled due to the presence of particulate matter identified as cellulose or stopper materia
Check the lot code, best-by date, and package size on the agency notice before you throw anything out — most recalls cover only a few production runs, not the whole brand.
Do not open or taste a recalled food to judge it. Contamination like listeria, salmonella, or undeclared allergens has no smell or taste.
Wash anything the product touched — shelves, cutting boards, containers — with hot soapy water, then sanitize.
Keep the receipt or a photo of the label. Nearly every food recall includes a full refund with no receipt required, but a photo speeds it up.
If you or a family member got sick, call your doctor first, then report it to the agency using the link on the notice. Illness reports are how the recall gets widened.
