Local news, events and public records for your ZIP code
MyNeighborhood is a local information service published by PiZetta Media. Enter a ZIP code and the site assembles what is actually happening in that community right now: headlines from the newsrooms that cover the town, events on the public calendar this week, the current forecast and any active weather warnings, recent government meeting agendas, building permits and property transfers, safety recalls that affect households, and census figures that describe how the area is changing.
Every headline links back to the newsroom that reported it. We do not republish or rewrite other publishers' articles. Where we write, we write our own material: plain-language summaries of public-domain government releases, original analysis of federal and state datasets, and daily briefs that pull a town's most useful information into one place. Each of those pages names the datasets behind it and links to the official record so a reader can check the work.
The reporting, data analysis, source verification and review are handled by Michael VanZetta, who has spent 24 years in local media. How the work is produced, how automated analysis is reviewed, and how to request a correction are documented on our editorial standards page.
