NHTSA Vehicle recall issued Sep 21, 2026.
Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Dynamax Grand Sport GT recreational vehicles. The engine pre-heat pump may have been improperly installed, causing the coolant hose to fail. A coolant hose failure can cause the engine to overheat, increasing the risk of a crash.
Look up your 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. It shows every open recall on your specific vehicle, not just the newest one.
The repair is free at any franchised dealer for that brand — there is no expiration on safety recall repairs, and you never pay for parts or labor.
If the notice says 'do not drive' or 'park outside,' take it literally. Those wordings are reserved for fire and crash risks.
Register your car seat with the manufacturer. Car seat recalls reach owners only if the seat is registered.
Bought used? Recalls follow the vehicle, not the owner, so an open recall from years ago is still yours to get fixed for free.
